This media file has been nominated for deletion since 8 August 2024. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page.
Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: I inquired with NOAA about the photo's copyright status, and a NOAA staff member replied that he was unsure if it's in the public domain. He mentioned that the photo will be removed from their website when it's migrated to a new platform. So this photo does not fall under {{PD-USGov-NOAA}}. It may or may not fall under {{PD-US-no notice}}, but we need further evidence.

Summary
[edit]Description1965 Elkhart Double Tornado-Palm Sunday.jpg | 1965 Elkhart, Indiana double tornado on Palm Sunday. This is one of the most incredible tornado photographs ever taken, between Goshen and Elkhart on Palm Sunday, the "double tornado" destroying the Midway Trailer Park, on U.S. Route 33, in Dunlap, Indiana April 11, 1965, at 6:32pm. These two massive funnels were rotating around each other, and produced F4 damage, killing 33 people. |
