Summary

[edit]
Description I was home in Indian Wells for one of my cousin's weddings in 1997 and my mother took some photos of me at Albert Frey's beautiful gas station. It was still derelict , and this is how it looked just before it was sold and turned into a gift shop. Now it's the visitor's centre. Note there is no retaining wall around the property which was later added by the gift shop and still remains. Note to Palms Springs Visitor Centre - Take the wall down! It destroys the view of this fab example of mid-century architecture.
