Description
Italiano: Il Palazzo dell'Annunziata è un palazzo settecentesco sito in Piazza Vittorio Veneto a Matera.

La data di edificazione è il 1735, come si legge sull'architrave di uno degli ingressi al monastero claustrale, quello del "parlatorio".

Ha dapprima ospitato il convento delle Domenicane, per poi diventare tribunale nel 1865 e ancora la scuola media.

Oggi l'edificio che domina la piazza centrale di Matera è sede della Mediateca e della Biblioteca Provinciale "Tommaso Stigliani" oltre a ospitare il Cinema Comunale.
