Description
English: The Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya houses the offices of the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is one of the few buildings of mediaeval origin in Europe that still functions as a seat of government and houses the institution that originally built it. It is located in the Gothic Quarter of Catalonia's capital, the city of Barcelona.
Español: El Palacio de la Generalidad es la sede de la Presidencia de la Generalidad de Cataluña y es uno de los pocos edificios de origen medieval en Europa que se mantiene como sede del gobierno y de la institución que lo construyó. Se encuentra en el distrito de Ciutat Vella de la ciudad de Barcelona. El edificio está situado entre los límites de las calles del Obispo, de San Severo y de San Honorato con la fachada principal en la plaza de San Jaime frente a la Casa de la Ciudad de Barcelona.
Català: El Palau de la Generalitat és la seu de la Presidència de la Generalitat de Catalunya, i un dels pocs edificis d'origen medieval a Europa que es manté com a seu del govern i de la institució que el va construir, la Generalitat de Catalunya. Es troba al barri gòtic de la ciutat de Barcelona. El Palau de la Generalitat és un dels símbols més preats de la nació catalana, entre altres motius pel fet que ha aconseguit superar contingències històriques i polítiques i perquè s'erigeix, juntament amb el Palau del Parlament, en un baluard de la democràcia a Catalunya.
