Description
Français : Autres titres : Palais épiscopal de l'Évêché de Québec. Description : L'édifice a été conçu selon les plans de l'architecte Thomas Baillairgé en 1844-1845. Il s'agit d'un édifice en pierre de taille comportant trois étages et il est coiffé d'un toit à croupe garni d'une lanterne surplombant un fronton d'esprit classique. Un portique à colonnes vient souligner l'entrée. Un incendie survient en 1887 et endommage la toiture et fait disparaitre la lanterne. À cette époque, un bâtiment est érigé au fond de la cour derrière le passage couvert, les plans sont ceux de Joseph-Ferdinand Peachy.
