Description Casa de correos, construida entre 1904 y 1909 . Emblemática obra de la arquitectura madrileña, primer edificio en Madrid del insigne arquitecto Antonio Palacios Ramilo en colaboración con Joaquín Otamendi Machimbarrena. Exitosa mezcla, no exenta de genialidad, de estilos arquitectonicos traidos de EE.UU. (Escuela de Chicago) con elementos de arquitecura autóctona renacentista y gótica....es decir "puro" eclecticismo ,si se nos permite la contradicción. Recientemente reformado, se convierte en sede del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, podemos visitar su interior y subir a la cúpual, hasta el 27 de julio ( jornadas de puertas abiertas).
