Esta notável construção data do primeiro quartel de setecentos, tendo sofrido remodelações posteriores (os seus jardins são disso exemplo, bem como algumas salas cuja decoração é típica do séc. XIX). O seu nome remonta ao séc. XVI, quando o arcebispo D. Diogo de Sousa chama artistas biscainhos para as obras da Sé. A entrada principal dá acesso a um amplo pátio interior. Em face da porta encontramos cinco pequenas estátuas sobre colunas em granito. No primeiro andar destaca-se a "sala dos azulejos", com um notável tecto de madeira. O seu jardim é um paradigma do barroco, sendo elaborado em terraços e repleto de esculturas (de tipo "rocaille"). No jardim encontra-se um pequeno pavilhão octogonal, a "casa do fresco". Lagos cuidadosamente concebidos e decorados são outro dos motivos de interesse.
