Summary
[edit]DescriptionPaisley tram No. 68 and Glasgow tram No. 812 at Crich - geograph.org.uk - 1291018.jpg |
English: Paisley tram No. 68 and Glasgow tram No. 812 at Crich Before the system was swallowed up by Glasgow Corporation, Paisley was served by the Paisley & District system. This is tram No. 68, which was built in 1919. Glasgow put a top roof on it, but the museum has restored it back to the condition in which it originally ran.
The tram on the right is No. 812 of the huge Glasgow system. It dates from 1900 and originally appeared as an open top tram, but it was enclosed in 1910. |
