Italiano: Le guardie del Parco Naz. d’Abruzzo, Paglia e Ursitti con i due lupi recentemente uccisi. Fonte Diana, Anno L, n. 21 del 15 novembre 1955, pag. 723 Testo Da alcuni giorni si nota, qua e là, la presenza di lupi che nelle loro apparizioni fanno lamentare danni alle greggi e perfino agli equini. Ma le guardie del Parco Naz. d’Abruzzo, sempre vigili e pronte ad intervenire per prevenire e, se necessario, anche a reprimere eventuali abusi da parte di cacciatori dai pochi scrupoli, per la sicurezza della fauna che vive nel Parco, specialmente il camoscio ed il capriolo, non trascurano di tenere sotto attento controllo anche i movimenti di questi temibili predoni. Giorni or sono si seppe dell’uccisione di un somaro avvenuta, nella vicina Opi, ad opera dei lupi. Le guardie Paglia ed Ursitti, ivi di stanza, , non ci dormirono sopra portandosi immediatamente sul posto dove, dopo lunghe ore di estenuante appostamento, sfidando l’inclemenza della stagione, riuscirono ad abbattere due (un maschio ed una femmina) dei quattro componenti la masnada dei malfattori. Gli altri due, vista la mala parata, si sono eclissati ma con essi il conto è rimasto provvisoriamente sospeso e si spera di poterlo presto regolare. |

The country of origin of this photograph is Italy. It is in the public domain there because its copyright term has expired. According to Law for the Protection of Copyright and Neighbouring Rights n.633, 22 April 1941 and later revisions, images of people or of aspects, elements and facts of natural or social life, obtained with photographic process or with an analogue one, including reproductions of figurative art and film frames of film stocks (Art. 87) are protected for a period of 20 years from creation (Art. 92). This provision shall not apply to photographs of writings, documents, business papers, material objects, technical drawings and similar products (Art. 87). Italian law makes an important distinction between "works of photographic art" and "simple photographs" (Art. 2, § 7). Photographs that are "intellectual work with creative characteristics" are protected for 70 years after the author's death (Art. 32 bis), whereas simple photographs are protected for a period of 20 years from creation.
