English: Padstow Station (remains). View southward, towards Wadebridge and Halwill Junction; ex-London & South Western terminus of North Cornwall ('Withered Arm') line, (Exeter) - Okehampton - Halwill - Wadebridge - Padstow, which closed 3/10/66 Okehampton - Wadebridge, 30/1/67 (Bodmin Road) - Wadebridge - Padstow. In this 1991 view, inevitably cars are parked where the railway; the station buildings are well preserved. (And it was raining). |
