English: An incomplete copper-alloy spring mechanism from a medieval barrel padlock. The spring has a circular-sectioned strip, which is bent in a U-shape. The strip has a flat rectangular terminal with a copper-alloy spring on each face. The length of the mechanism is 38.3mm, the diameter of the strip is 2.5mm and the weight is 2.10g. |
