| Description |
English: Paddling the Allen above Hag Fall The river Allen is a fine paddling descent, with most the journey spent in wooded gorges. The river opens out over shingle banks at one point before turning sharp left into another gorge, of which this photo shows the start as the left wall gains height. The level was bit low on this day, so the potentially hazardous Hag Fall which follows this section (about three minutes later, according to my camera) was a bit of a scrape with no real stopper. |
