One feels as if onewere within the walls of some huge cathe-dral, with incense burning all around himin multi-colored flames. In front of this Court of Abundance,between the facades of the palaces ofVaried Industries and Manufactures, thereis a small Court of Flowers, distinguishedby a central fountain, Beauty and theBeast, by Edgar Walter, and an eques-trian statue, The Pioneer. by Solon Bor-glum. To the west of the Court of the Uni-verse is found the Court of the Four Sea-sons, where there are some especiallystriking sculptural groups. Above the halfdome on the south side is a gioup repre-senting Harvest, the work of AlbertJaegers, who is responsible also for twobeautiful figures on columns, represent-ing, respectively, Rain and Sunshine,and two groups, The Feast of Sacrifice,surmounting two corners of the forecourt.
