The second main divi-sion formed on Webster street, north ofLombard, and was made up of all theout-of-town districts with the exceptionof Alameda County District; twenty-fivedistricts in all, stretching from Chicodown to Fresno. Alameda County, up-wards of twelve hundred strong, formedthe third main division on ^Yebster streetsouth of Lombard, while the fourth maindivision, gathered on Lombard street, eastof Webster, consisted of San FranciscoDistrict, numbering upwards of two thou-sand.
