Tapsfrom both Bay lines No. 1 and No. 2 arerun to the Woodland substation on a two-circuit wooden pole line. These tap lines arecarried on suspension insulators and are sup-ported vertically one line on either side of thepole. Switches are provided at each end ofthe lines to permit the usual maintenance. Atthe substation the flexibility is such that eitherline may be opened without interrupting theservice from Woodland. There is also an I IK. V. tie line between Woodland Substation Spanish Renaissance, verging on the Missiontype, and is most striking in appearance, beingunlike anything to be seen in Yolo County.
