And itwas not until this corner was swung back toa distance of about a hundred feet from thewater, that bed rock was found as high asthe floor level, showing that the bed rockpitched off more than sixteen feet, within adistance of about forty feet, at this point.Bringing this corner back so far made the the glacial period.
