The roundtrip from Sica-mous Junction tothe foot of the lakeoccupies two days,which will bemost enjoyablyspent. The Canyonof the Thompsonis entered beyondAshcroft. Itsangry waters rushalong in a per-fect maelstromand after thejunction with theFraser at Lytton,the scenery as-sumes an even wilder aspect. North Bend is situatedin the heart of the Fraser Canyon, amid awe-inspiringsurroundings. At Agassiz there is a fine Government experimentalfruit farm,while five miles north is Harrison Lake, a beau-tiful sheet of water noted for its hot sulphur springs.
