English: Julianów Palace in Łódź after German bombing. The palace was built between 1885-1890 as a summer residence for Juliusz Heinzel. After the Heinzel family bankruptcy, the structure was purchased by the municipality of Łódź and intended for a Łódź region museum.[1] Burned down in September 1939 as a result of bombardment by the Germans and eventually pulled down by them the same year.[1] |
