Description

Giraffa camelopardalis = Giraffa camelopardalis (Linnaeus, 1758), juv.

English: Sagittal section of ossicone and underlying skull of juvenile (about 1 year old) giraffe from the Natural History Museum (above) and newborn giraffe (below). p.oss. = ossicone, s. = parieto-frontal suture, x. = parietal bone, y. = frontal bone.
