PUBLIC-CEAE35 a Glass Bead
Description
English: A complete opaque blue glass spherical bead. It measures 9.03mm in diameter by 7.95mm in thickness and the hole is 1.97mm wide. The bead weights 0.8 grams. It was found in an area with finds ranging in date from the iron age to medieval.


Jennifer Jackson believes this is a Roman bead, similar examples can be seen in the database. Similar beads can be seen in The Jewellery of Roman Britain Johns p100-101.
