Description
English: A complete copper alloy terret of early Roman date.. The terret ring is sub-oval in plan with one end comprising of a loop on the top, through which the rein would have passed and is slightly cracked towards one end. There is a sub-rectangular collar or skirt that separates the upper loop from the lower one. The collar is concave and protrudes out wards folding downwards towards the end. The bottom terret ring raises from the middle of the collar to a oval shape.
