Deutsch: Blick von der Einmündung des Hopfensackes in die Brauerstraße südwärts über letztere und den Brückenansatz der Winser Brücke (links) übers Klingbergfleet in den abzweigenden Winser Baum mit Durchblick zu Dovenfleet (Straße) und Dovem Fleet (Gewäser), das bis 1888 ausgebaut wurde zum Zollkanal. Winser Brücke und Winser Baum verdanken ihre Namen der Tatsache, dass die oberelbische Flusschifffahrt hier Hamburg erreichte, wobei der Winser Baum hier in den Strom gelegt wurde, um Aus- und Einfahrt bei Nacht oder sonst unerwünschter Fahrzeuge zu sperren. Winser Brücke und Winser Baum verschwanden zwischen 1907 und 1910 im Zuge der Umgestaltung der Gegend durch breitere Straßen und größere Gebäude. |
