Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ambassador Michał Kołodziejski became the first Polish ambassador officially accredited in Nauru. The presentation of diplomatic credentials took place on 16 September 2021. Due to travel restrictions between Australia and the Pacific country caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony took place virtually. Ambassador Kołodziejski and President Aingimea discussed prospects for development of bilateral relations, in particular regarding the cooperation between the two countries at the UN, in addressing the negative effects of climate change and the challenges emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic.
