Summary

[edit]
Description

"Wet Feet: Marine Private First Class Edward Snibes (Washington, DC) rubs his feet during Operation Meade River, 13 miles southwest of Da Nang. The multi-battalion operation consisted of 5,000 Marines in what is considered the largest heli-assault in Marine Corps’ history. The Marines often waded knee deep in marsh, swamp, and rice paddy, requiring many foot rubs and changes of socks."
