Deutsch: Das Elefantenhaus in Peine. Es wurde um 1925 nach Plänen von Anton van Norden im Stil des Backsteinexpressionismus errichtet. Seinen Namen hat es von dem Terrakotta-Schlußstein über der mittleren Arkade, auf dem ein Elefant dargestellt ist.
English: The Elephant House in Peine, Germany. It was built around 1925 to a design by Anton van Norden in the Brick Expressionist style. It takes its name from the terracotta keystone above the central arcade, on which an elephant is depicted. |
