Deutsch: Energieschema der Photoelektronenspektroskopie (PES). Schematisiert skizziert ist im linken Graph die Zustandsdichte (engl. density of states, DOS ) eines Metalls mit zwei Rumpfniveauzuständen und einem das Ferminiveau kreuzende (metallische) Band. Durch die Messung bei endlicher Temperatur und Geräteauflösung wird die scharfe Fermikante und die diskreten Rumpfniveaus verbreitert, wie es im rechten Graph als PES-Spektrum skizziert ist. |
