Title
PENDANT HANGER
Description
English: Gilt copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount. The mount is rectangular with a projecting loop at the top that would have contained a rivet. In the centre of the mount is a raised moulded shield shape containing worn blue enamel and a central lys. The surrounding rectangular plate has a gilded moulded pellet and floral decoration. There is another rivet hole in the centre at the base of the mount, just above two projecting lugs that would have acted as the hinge on which the pendant was hung. The reverse is flat.
