Description A U.S. Navy Lockheed TO-1 Shooting Star taking off during trials aboard the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVB-42) in November 1946. The TO-1 was essentially a U.S. Air Force P-80C fitted with an arrester hook.
