Description A Lockheed P-3A/B Orion Long Range Tracker (LRT) of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection service in flight. The P-3 LRT is equipped with an AN/APG-66 radar and is mainly used to intercept and track airborne smuggling threats. The aircraft often fly in tandem with the P-3 AEW which detects and tracks multiple targets and the accompanying P-3 LRT intercepts, identifies and tracks those suspect targets. The aircraft is also known as the P-3 "Slick".
