Description
English: Fishermen unloading cuttlefish from their trawler. It can be noticed that the bins and baskets are stained with a black substance, the "sepia" also called ink or cuttlefish ink. The cuttlefish releases this black liquid to conceal itself and escape. The fishing boat is the trawler (and seiner) "LE PHENIX" built in 1989. Length: 11.95 meters, engine power: 74 kW, plastic hull. Registration: LR 726743. La Rochelle, Charente Maritime, France.
Français : Pêcheurs débarquant des seiches de leur chalutier. On peut remarquer que les bacs et les paniers sont tachés d'une substance noire, la "sépia" appelée encore encre ou noir de seiche. La seiche projette ce liquide noir afin de se dissimuler pour prendre la fuite. Le bateau de pêche est le chalutier (et fileyeur) "LE PHENIX" construit en 1989. Longueur: 11,95 mètres, puissance moteur: 74 kw, coque en plastique. Immatriculation: LR 726743.
