English: Railways and tramlines around Péruwelz in 1922. The vicinal railway terminates to the south of the railway station. From there there is the horsedrawn tramway to the border at Bonsecour. At the French border there another metergauge line to Valenciennes of the CEN (later electrified and part of the tramnetwork around Valenciennes). The horsetram was withdrawn from public service in 1914. The Germans used it during the war for injury transport. It was not rebuild after the war. |
