Description

Oxyethira sp., to Robinson trap, Hellerup, Denmark, 4/5 June 2013

Identification based on Barnard and Ross, The adult Trichoptera (caddisflies) of Britain and Ireland. Spur formula apparently 0.3.4; forewing less than 3.5mm, tapering to sharp point. Closely resembles images of Oxyethira flavicornis(Pictet, 1834) at www.naturespot.org.uk/species/oxyethira-flavicornis
