| Description |
English: Owl box on River Glen floodbank The Hawk and Owl Trust has erected a number of these boxes along the floodbank of the River Glen. They appear in twos, about 10 metres apart, and are all on poles like this. Surprisingly they are erected adjacent to the footpath rather than a bit more remotely so we surprised a barn owl which flew out (sorry not quick enough with the camera). Yes, the picture is upright! Buildings of Willow Tree Farm behind. |
