Das männliche Tier des im Kölner Zoos gehalten Moschusochsenpärchens zeigte Anfang März 2005 deutliches Brunftverhalten. Er attackierte beispielsweise Baumstämme und Zweige im Gehege. Das Bild ist während eines einer solchen Attacken entstanden.
