Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64) underway, in the early 1970s. The photo is dated "August 1970". However, Constellation underwent a Drydocking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) from July 1970 to April 1971.
Aircraft of the carrier's air wing fly over Constellation. If the photo was taken before the drydocking period, the aircraft were from Attack Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14). After the drydocking period, CVW-9 was assigned to the Constellation.
