| Description |
English: Outflow of Stony Tarn This is not the easiest of tarns to locate when approaching as a digression from the path leading from Eskdale to Slight Side. A succession of hollows and rises coupled with the absence of any tracks does not help. The fact that the tarn is well hidden when approached from this direction is confirmed by its not being visible from the summit of Harter Fell across the valley. |
