Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Out-fall from Stoke Bardolph water treatment works The Severn Trent Water sewerage plant deals with all of Nottingham and is the largest in the area. They retrieve methane for electricity generation and recycle the sludge via underground pipes into local fields. The clean water is discharged into the Trent via a culvert. The water flows at such a rate that it causes a strong backwash from the River Trent. The swans, both adults and last season's young, were busy feeding in the disturbed water.
