New Guide to Rose Culture for 1903 65 The Choicest Hybrid Tea Roses THIS is a comparatively new class, the result of a union between the Teas and Hybrid Perpetuals. Inthis class ^-ill be found many varieties famous for their vigor, profuseness of bloom, brilliancy andexquisite fragrance of flowers. They combine the valuable characteristics of both the Teas andHybrid Perpetuals, inasmuch as they bloom freely the first year like an ordinary Ever-bloomingTea Rose, and from the Hybrids they inherit the large, finely-formed flowers and pungent fragrance,together with vigor and hardiness. South of Philadelphia they are hardy; in the North they vrill bebenefited if given shght protection.
