Still more interesting are the circles of stones found veryplentifully in McPherson County, indicating where the teepeeswere pitched. The stones, I suppose, served the purposes ofpegs, being laid on the edges of the tents. As they weresimply rolled off when the tent was folded, they served in turnfor others.
