Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Our Saviour Norwegian Lutheran Church at 1 South Hancock Street / 401 East Washington Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin. The congregation split from the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Madison in 1886 and built this edifice in 1897. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Madison changed its name to Bethel Norwegian Lutheran Church in 1896. This building later became an insurance office and, in 1979, the Monastery Restaurant, which closed in 1994. In 1999, it reopened as Bellini Restaurant, which operated until 2016. In 2023, the Prost! tavern opened here.
