Summary
English: Ottobrunn: View from the utmost southwest of the municipality. In the foreground the Munich Gravel Plain. The white building with the blue roof on the left is the tower of the Phönix-Bad (public swimming pools). Right adjoining the so-called Bölkowberg (Bölkow Hill), the highest point of Ottobrunn. In the middle and on the right of the image is the former site of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm. The brown field belongs to Ottobrunn, the green one to Taufkirchen. The road in front of the buildings is the Haidgraben, the Taufkirchen section of which is called Ludwig-Bölkow-Allee (Ludwig Bölkow Alley). Still in the second half of the 20th century it marked the border between the Höhenkirchen Forest and the Haching Valley. |
