Description
English: this image shows the Kirnitzsch with the Neumannmühle, a watermill, in the background.
Deutsch: Blick auf die Kirnitzsch an der Neumannmühle in der Sächsischen Schweiz. Die Neumannmühle wurde erstmals 1576 erwähnt, bestand aber möglicherweise schon seit dem 14. Jahrhundert. Die Technik der Brettmühle wurde 1871/72 um eine Holzschliffanlage ergänzt. Heute ist die Neumannmühle die einzige Mühle des Kirnitzschtals, deren historische Technik erhalten und als Museum der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich blieb.
