Description accordin gto Strelitzia 29, p. 409: robust shrub to 2 m. Leaves oblanceolate, weakly clasping at base, margins fi nely toothed, sometimes smooth. Flower heads radiate, many in dense, branched, terminal corymbs, yellow. Mainly July–Nov. Sandstone slopes, NW, SW, KM, LB, SE (Bokkeveld Mtns to Langkloof).
