Deutsch: Das heutige Mietshaus Johannisallee 20 am Ostplatz wurde als Verlagsgebäude des Verlags Velhagen & Klasing erbaut. Nach Abschluss der Renovierungsarbeiten nach der deutschen Wiedervereinigung befand sich in diesem im Erdgeschoss eine Niederlassung der Commerzbank sowie seit 1996 die Tagesklinik und die Forschungsabteilung der Klinik für Psychiatrie der Universität Leipzig. Nach Verkauf des Gebäudes in der Emilienstraße, in dem die Ambulanz der Klinik für Psychiatrie bis dato untergebracht war, zog 2004 auch die Ambulanz der Klinik und Poliklinik für Psychiatrie des Leipziger Universitätsklinikums in dieses Gebäude ein. Mit Fertigstellung des neuen Universitätsklinikums in der Liebigstraße und der Umbauarbeiten an der ehemaligen, 1930 eröffneten Orthopädischen Klinik der Universität (Ecke Semmelweisstraße/Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße) zogen alle Organisationseinheiten der Klinik und Poliklinik für Psychiatrie in das Gebäude Semmelweisstraße 11 / Ecke Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße. |
