Description The house of Ostindiska kompaniet (the East India Company, an important trade company in the 18th Century in Sweden). Today it is the City Museum of Gothenburg (Swedish: Göteborgs stadsmuseum). To the right is the tower of the church Tyska kyrkan and between the church and the museum is a town house. The houses stand next to The main City Canal in Gothenburg/Göteborg - in Swedish: Stora Hamnkanalen (literally: "The Main Harbour (or Haven) Canal").
