Deutsch: Ein Aushang in der Kirche informiert: Vermutlich 1822 wurde ein alter Taufstein durch einen Taufengel ersetzt. Im Allgemeinen wurden Taufengel an einem Seil befestigt, das über eine Rolle mit einem Gegengewicht verbunden war. Wie bei unserem Engel war in der Gürtelregion eine Öse befestigt. Mit Hilfe eine Stange mit Haken konnte der Taufengel dann aus seiner erhöhten Position zur Taufhandlung herabgezogen werden. So hatte man bei den Gottesdiensten mehr Platz in der Kirche. Die Taufschale, die in den Kranz (den der Engel in seinen Händen hält) eingefügt wurde, fehlt leider.
Der Taufengel war bis um 2010 auf dem Boden der Kirche eingelagert und wurde nach einer Restaurierung wieder aufgehängt. |
