Description
Српски / srpski: Остаци овог старог манастира налазе се поред пута, на улазу у Горњачку клисуру. Ктитор манастира био је деспот Стефан Лазаревић, који је у њему имао и своју резиденцију. Некада је у њему боравило и по неколико стотина монаха. Према непотврђеном народном предању овде се претходно налазила испосница Светог Саве, која је касније претворена у манастир.

Помиње се 1420. године, у документу који говори о калуђеру Висариону. Јоаким Вујић говри о великој, лепој осликаној цркви, коју су Турци порушили. Овде су се преписивале књиге под окриљем Ресавске школе из Манасије.

Недалеко се налазе и остаци значајног духовног средишта, старе Митрополије.
English: The remains of this old monastery are located by the road, at the entrance to the Gornjacka Gorge. The ctitor of the monastery was despot Stefan Lazarevic, who also had his residence there. It used to house several hundred monks.According to an unconfirmed folk tradition, this was the former expedition of Saint Sava, which was later converted into a monastery. It is mentioned in 1420, in a document referring to the Visarion nun. Joakim Vujic speaks of a large, beautifully painted church, which was demolished by the Turks. Books were transcribed here under the auspices of the Manasseh Resav School. Not far away are the remains of a significant spiritual center, the old Metropolis.
