Summary
[edit]DescriptionOsmington, postbox No. DT3 62 - geograph.org.uk - 1415460.jpg |
English: Osmington: postbox № DT3 62 This George V-reign postbox is set into the wall of what used to be the village post office, till its closure about a decade ago. There had been an office in the village since 18 May 1844, though of course not necessarily in this cottage. The box is emptied finally at 4:45pm on weekdays and the very surprisingly late (for such a rural spot) 1pm on Saturdays.
The cottage is now aptly named Letterbox Cottage. |
