Description
English: Silver piece from the reign of Ivan III of Muscovy, possibly minted by Aristotele Fioravanti. Five petals under the horse's hooves are thought to be an allusion to the architect's name (Fioravanti meaning "flowers to the wind" in Italian). The word "Orristoteles" is an another possible allusion (however, the erratic spelling gives way to other interpretations).
