Description
Français : «vase attique de la fin du Ve siècle. L'artiste s'est inspiré des traditions suivant lesquelles la tête d'Orphée avait été ensevelie sur la côte de Lesbos et y prophétisait. Au milieu, surgit du sol la tête du héros ; un jeune homme assis note sur un diptyque l'oracle rendu ; à droite, Apollon étend un bras protecteur au-dessus de la tête inspirée.»
